What if?

Let’s entertain some “what ifs” for a moment.

What if He is as faithful as the bible says?

What if He is far more kind than we ever thought?

What if He’s not angry with you?

What if we took Him at His word + acted upon it holding Him to His word?

What if we dove into His goodness trusting He will take care of us?

What if He DOES want to heal?

What if the healing looks different than you thought?

What if the next step of the journey takes you in a different direction?

What if this addiction you’re stuck in doesn’t stop Him from thinking of you constantly?

What if all He loves you just as you are right where you are?

What if He has better for you?

What if you are His treasured one?

What if our whole perspective of God + the world was flipped upside down + we don’t have to live in despair or in the lies that we aren’t enough or that we are too much? That there is so much joy that is ours to be had?

What if we ARE good enough + He loves us for being exactly who we are?

What if there is more for us?

What if God is really truly as good as He says He is?

Would we believe Him? Would we trust Him? Would it change the way we think about Him? About ourselves? About life itself?

Think about it. I believe there is so much more for us than living in despair or battling political fights, or living for the next like or drug hit or person to fulfill our desires or money to be made.

What if all our desires could be found in His presence?

Don’t take my word for it. I’m just asking questions. I just want to provoke some thoughts that may have never been thought. Or maybe we’ve been too scared to ask these “daring” questions. But I think life starts getting lived when we start asking good, intentional, thought provoking questions that stir our spirit to life.

What thoughts have you asked or better yet, been too afraid to ask?
