Take Me to the Woods

Take me to the woods

Take me for an adventure

Take me where I can let go of the world with

cares that weigh me down

//

My heart is wild

My soul is hungry

Just to feel the wind whisper + the trees

sing

That’s all I long to hear

//

Soothe my tired mind + achy bones

With your picturesque perspective

Gaze + gaze until the scenes melt into my

thoughts

Clearing out the fog

//

Walk until the weights drop

One by one they go

Walk until they no longer exist + I feel

lighter once more

I can breathe a little easier

//

Take me to the woods

Take me for an adventure

Take me where the noiseless breath of

nature surrounds + soothes my tired spirit
