Soul

The trickling of water

The warm sunshine

The cool breeze

Soothes my tired soul

The pecking of a bird on a tree

The song of the chickadee

The rhythm of rustling leaves

Music to my withering soul

The bright white birch

The green spring sprouts beneath the dead leaves

The sunlight streaming through the budding trees

Peace to my anxious soul

Here among the creaking trees + singing birds

Here where the fresh air fills my lungs

Here among the flowing waters

Here is where I found solace for my soul

Here is where I find You

Here is where You talk to me

Here in Your creation I belong

Where life invades my soul
